It's Good to be Back

I do have to apologize for being gone so long. In my defence I was in Greece for a month and I've been spending June getting adjusted to Banff, my summer location.

I missed a lot of things while I was away. My blog's third birthday. Happy belated birthday blog! Canada winning the World Hockey Championships. That's the one that really smarts. There was only one english channel in Greece and it was CNN so you can guess they weren't really interested in covering Canada or hockey.

Something exciting you should know is that for the first time in a long time, Canada and Russia are going to go head to head in hockey this August in what's being called the 'Super Series'.

Now, if you're old enough or if you're Canadian you must have heard of the Summit Series and the name Paul Henderson. I wasn't around in '72 but I know the story. We booed our team in Vancouver; Frank thought the Russians were spying on him and all that. I can't wait to see how our teams match up!
